The face behind Be Kynd Chocolate
Hi there, I'm Karin! Lovely to have you here. Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I have always had a passion for creating delicious and healthy food. Working as a midwife and child health nurse for many years, I became increasingly interested in the connection between health and nutrition, and began experimenting with creating plant-based treats that could be enjoyed by people wanting or needing to follow special dietary guidelines. Myself, I have been following a vegan diet and lifestyle for over 10 years now and I enjoy the benefits that it brings me and my family.
Based in Brisbane, Australia, I am super excited to open my new online store - Be Kynd Chocolate, a small batch artisan chocolate shop that is totally focused on taste and deliciousness, exclusively producing vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free chocolates and treats.
I focus on using sustainably sourced ingredients in my chocolates whenever possible and being committed to being environmentally friendly by trying to minimise my impact on our beautiful planet Earth wherever possible.
Karin has built a dedicated solar-powered, climate controlled chocolate facility, where she can focus on quality and continue to innovate with new flavours and techniques.
It's a dream come true to be able to combine my love for working with chocolate and my passion for sustainability into one business, and I am so grateful every day to be able to share my chocolates with you.
